Specialist information for UK homeowners with adverse credit

Check your remortgage options

Tell us a little about your circumstances and we’ll help you understand your next steps.

  • About two minutes
  • No credit check to enquire
  • No obligation

Three short steps. Approximate figures are fine, and every question helps the adviser understand your situation.

Step 1 of 3Your home and mortgage

What are you looking to do?

An estimate is fine, for example based on similar homes nearby.

Roughly what you still owe. Enter 0 if you own your home outright.

Only if you want to raise money or consolidate debts. Leave blank if not.

Step 2 of 3Your credit history and income

This helps the adviser focus on lenders whose criteria may fit. We don’t run a credit check.

Choose the one that matters most to you.

If there is more than one, choose the most recent.

Is it settled or resolved?
Are your current mortgage payments up to date?

Before tax, per year, for everyone who will be on the mortgage.

Step 3 of 3Your contact details

So an adviser can get in touch to talk through your options.

A UK mobile or landline. An adviser will usually call first.

No obligation. No credit check to enquire.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Bad Credit Remortgage is not a lender and does not give mortgage advice. We pass your enquiry to [AUTHORISED PARTNER FIRM NAME], who may contact you to discuss your options. [CONFIRM FEE / COMMISSION DISCLOSURE WITH COMPLIANCE PARTNER]

We use your answers only to deal with your enquiry. Read our privacy policy to see how your information is handled, who it is shared with and how long it is kept.

If you are struggling with debt, free and confidential advice is available from MoneyHelper, StepChange and National Debtline.

Questions about your enquiry

What happens after I send my enquiry?

Your details are passed to an authorised adviser who works with adverse credit remortgages. They will contact you, usually by phone, to go through your circumstances in more detail and explain what may be possible. There is no obligation to go ahead.

Why do you ask about my credit history?

Different lenders take very different views on CCJs, defaults, arrears and insolvency. Knowing roughly what is on your file, when it happened and whether it is settled helps the adviser focus on options that may realistically fit, rather than sending you in the wrong direction.

Do I need exact figures?

No. Approximate figures are fine at this stage. If you are not sure of your property value, an estimate based on similar homes nearby is enough. An adviser will confirm the details with you later.
